What Is Your Goal For Your Family?

Everyday, we hear negative news around the world in the television, laptop, cellphones, newspapers, forums, social media and others the continuous tearing apart of many families in our present time. The rate of the following like divorce, juvenile delinquency, unwanted pregnancy, drop outs from school, drunkenness, using and selling of drugs, gambling, killing, robbery, poverty and others are mostly related to the eroding of the family ties today. As a member of a family, the smallest unit of a society that affects the stability, peaceful, joyful and hopeful life of a nation and of the world, what can you contribute to minimize at least these gigantic problems each country is facing now? We know that nobody can eat or swallow a big bread in a minute but rather, it should be eat little by little to consume it all smoothly. We can't solve the big issues around us at once or in overnight but we can solve it little by little by focusing first in our own home. Here are some helpful guides from the words of God: First, let us believe and submit to the authority of the bible or the words of God as the only true blueprint to restore the broken lives of people and of the family. The bible says in II Timothy 3:16-17, "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work". Second, let us be reminded that the original plan of God for the world and for the family was excellent, a life full of joy, peace, harmony, full of blessings materially and orderliness. But because of sin of disobedience of our forefathers - Adam and Eve, this wonderful plan was tainted and almost destroyed. And now, all men around the world are suffering so much cause of the entering of different issues that were the results of sin. Satan will never stop to do his evil desires and wicked aspirations and of his blind eyes and mind to dethrone the Triune God and is continue and will go on to lead astray all even the believers through his devilish schemes from their faith in God, just to be with him in his kingdom in hell. For this reason, God sent his faithful followers, the prophets, the preachers, the  teachers and his faithful children to remind the people in old days to repent but still, they ignored this effort and do everything evil before the eyes of a living and holy God and most of them were ridiculed, mocked and killed by these wicked people until God has sent his only Son Jesus to remind them personally to repent from their sins through his preaching and teaching ministries and even to do miracles of healing and casting out demons just to open their eyes for their need of a Savior from sure death - an eternal separation of man from the presence of God. Jesus obeyed his Father our God and he offered his life to die on the cross in order to save people from the power and punishment of sin. The world today is in deep chaos and people will continue to live in wickedness but we have to praise God cause there is a Savior who came here on earth and his name is Jesus. He came here to give us life and to have this more abundantly (John 10:10). "To all who received him to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God" (John 1;12-13) There is freedom and life in Jesus (John 14:6; John 3:16). Repent, and believe in the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you will be saved, you and your household(Acts 16:31; Revelation 3:20). Third, obey the words of God. There is nothing to lose when a person obeys God! Apostle Paul has given these a must instructions to the family: First to the children and he said, "Children obey and honor your parents in everything which is good for this is right and pleasing to God (Ephesians 6:1; Colossians 3:20 God wants the best for his creation and for us and our parents are just relaying what they received and had experienced to be loved and this love is the one that they are sharing to us as their children. If the child asks bread from his parents, shall they give them stone? Or if he asks for a fish, shall he give him snake? (Matthew 7:9-10).All the parents even they have many faults and weaknesses, know how to give good things to their children, how much more then our heavenly Father who is good and he is just using our parents to train us in the way we should go to save us all from sure sadness, failures, discouragement or even death brought by wayward live which is the result of disobedience and intentional negligence of the parents (Proverbs 22:6). To obey our parents means, to love and to respect them. A life away from sins of selfishness, envy, pride, lust of the eyes, hatred, unforgiving spirit, spirit of competition, too much love on material things, no respect to God and his words, no time for God and destroying his or her life which is not of him but of God. God owns your life and we have no right to destroy it. For the unbelievers God owns you through creation and you didn't create yourself. You are pretender, a robber and a killer if you own which is not yours and you're destroying it through disobedience to his words. A person who lives in sin, needs a Savior who will free him from the power of sin and save him from the punishment of sin (Romans 3:23; 6:23). For the believers, God owns you twice, in his creation (Genesis 1) and at the cross where Jesus died (I Peter 1:24). The Holy Spirit who is also God lives in you when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is the temple of your body (I Corinthians 6:19; 3:16) and you have no right to live in sin but to obey the words God - to live in holy loving life. There is promise of material blessings and will enjoy long life here on earth to those children who will obey faithfully their parents. Obedience to parents, is obedience to God and he is pleased in the lives of the obedient children (Ephesians 6:3; Colossians 3:20) Second, to all the fathers, "do not exasperate or embitter your children because of your way of living and harsh words which are not pleasing to God and to the eyes of your children which will surely cause them not to respect you and thet will be discouraged and less motivated in life that will surely lead them to low performance in school, early marriage, might become a victim of vices, unwanted child, a life of shame for you and for him, depression that might lead to suicidal action that will bring you sorrow (Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:20). If you love God, your children and yourself, do what it says in Ephesians 6:4 "... but bring them up in the training and instructions of the Lord". Your duty is not just to provide food, education and other things for them but to guide them and to do everything even it costs all you have, just to help them know God through his words and to grow in it that they will become like Christ in words and in deeds. You have to love God and his words before you can guide and lead them to a life which is pleasing to God. "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will never depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6) Lastly, to all mothers, "submit to your husbands as is fitting to the Lord" (Colossians 3:18) Be supportive in all good things that he does, be kind to him in deeds and in your words, be calm and control tongue and yourself when you talk to him, be kind, understanding, humble before his eyes and your children that will truly pleases our God. Be prayerful and love the words of God for him, your children for the glory of God. The book Proverbs 31:30 says, "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised". If Jesus and his words of love and holiness is at the center of the family, expect a happy and joyful and peaceful life. Parents and children obey the words of God and be a blessing to other family and individuals. Be an agent of love and holiness of God. And whatever you do, whether you eat or drink, do these all for the glory of God (Colossians 3:17) Our goal is to help restore the families that are destroyed and experiencing issues that will crumble their relationship. Pray hard for them and let them see Christ in our lives. Be a living example to all and let them experience the love and holiness of our holy loving God (Matthew 5:16) For more biblical messages about family, visit our blogs at hopeandlifeforyou.com and Eugene "EJ" Juarez or email me at agn623@gmail.com for your comment, suggestions and prayer requests. God of Wonders: Scientists prove Almighty God's existence through Science

Be Warned, Jesus Is Coming Soon!

The word warning is use in all places to inform the people of sure danger that will happen once they ignore the very important caution not to eat, not to go, to detour, not to come closer, not to do something to be safe or save from sure accident if they ignore the Warning! In the book of Ezekiel 3:16-25 the word of the Lord came to the prophet Ezekiel that he will make him a watchman for the people of Israel. It is his main task as a watchman to remind all unbelieving Israelite to repent of their sins in order to avoid punishment that will surely lead to death spiritually (verse 18) This kind of death means, eternal separation of man's soul and body from the presence of God. This truth is explained clearly in the new testament book in Matthew 1:21 that says, "...because he will save his people from the power of sins". sent Jesus on earth not to save the Israelite from the tyranny form of government of Rome but to save them from the power and punishment of sin, which is despair, loneliness, emptiness and purposeless kind of life that lead to death - a foretaste of hell! God gave his words to prophet Ezekiel for the following reasons: First, is to warn his people who are living in sin to repent or to reap the wages of sin which is death. "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23) and that he will not be held accountable for their death. Second, is to warn the believing Israelite not to sin but rather, to live a holy life in obedience to the words of God. He will be held accountable of the blood or life of the believing Israelite if he will not speak or warn them to repent and he will be freed from moral accountability if he warned them even though they still insist to disobey the words of God (verses 20-21) And to those believing Israelite who witnessed and tasted the salvation and grace of God who chose to disobey his words, all their good deeds will come to nothing or be wasted and their souls and bodies will jointly suffer death or be in hell for eternity (Revelation 21:8) My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us work together and pray to God of the harvest to send more watchmen to tell the people in all parts of the world that there is a sure unavoidable danger that will come to all unrepentant people and to those who are still insisting to live in sins like the people in time of Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah and now is repeating this life of wickedness in our present generation. The God of our forefathers is the same God of our generation. Satan and all his evil angels are working fast without rest knowing that their time is about to an end. Satan, his evil angels, false prophets and wicked people will all be thrown into the lake of fire - the final place of punishment and sufferings with no end! (Revelation 20:10) Share our faith and bring the good news of love and forgiveness of God through Jesus to all people as long as it is day and we have time. The coming of Jesus is like a thief in the night. No one knows (I Thessalonians 5:1-3)Be watchful, be prepared and be faithful in season or out of season to let the people know to repent and be saved from the sure judgment of God to all wicked men (II Timothy 4:2) Without holiness, no one can see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14) "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, Jesus that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16) "Yet to all who received him , to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God (John 1:12-13) Friends if you're tired of so many issues in life and it seems that you're in the dead end of your life, Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior now. Humble yourself and admit before him that you are one of the reasons why Jesus died on the cross which should be your place and my place. Repent of your sins and sin no more. Ask the help of God to help you to turn away from your sins and to live a new life which he prepared for you here on earth now and in the life to come. Believe and you will be saved you and your household (Acts 16:31) For more biblical messages about life, hell, forgiveness, hope, eternal life and others please visit our website at https://www.savelifewithjoy.com or go to our blogs at hopeandlifeforyou.com and Eugene "EJ" Juarez. A Life That Is Pleasing To God?

"But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God - having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them" (2 Timothy 3:1-5) This passage was written thousand years ago and we know that a thousand years is just a day to God (2 Peter 3:8) These descriptions are now happening in our own time and it means only that we're now in the last days. The second coming of the Lord is like a thief in the night. No one knows the exact date, day, hour, minute and second of his coming even the angels nor the Son of man who refers to Jesus when he was here on earth and lived as a true man like us (Matthew 24:36) We can see some signs that are also written in the book of Matthew 24:1-35 that says of the following: for many will come in my name, claiming , I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All of these are the beginning of birth pains. There will be persecutions and killings, many will become cold in their faith and many will turn away from it, and betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of increase of wickedness, the love of most believers will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and the end will come...". Our God is so good to us and he gave us these clues or signs through Jesus Christ on how we'll know what to do in preparation for his second coming. That's why the preaching of the gospel abounds and flourishes through the aid of high technology. We can now preach and share the good news of salvation fast through television, you tube, printed materials, radio, internet, and other social media. The world is now within our reach. The growth of evangelism is so fast and many believers both poor and rich are contributing to pay the cost of this endeavor for the kingdom but we can observe also the fast growth of wickedness. Satan, his evil angels and followers are doing all things to deceive people and even the believers away from God. They never rest and always on the go to kill, to steal and to destroy the people in all parts of the world. Satan wants that all people will perish in hell - his kingdom and the eternal place for all evils and wicked people. But God sent Jesus to die on the cross to save us all from the power and punishment of sin (Matthew 1:21;23), Jesus came to give us life and to have this more abundantly (John 10:10). We as Christians should hold on to the teachings of Jesus, to live a holy life, to love our neighbor, loved ones, friends and contacts. We should to do it daily and must obey the teaching in Matthew 5:16 that says, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven". Be faithful in all things that we do wherever God has placed us, even in our home, school, work place, hospital, jail, mall, restaurant, buses, and other places. "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him" (Colossians 3:16) To love God is to live in holiness for without it no one can see God face to face (I Peter 1:16) Let us be reminded always that all of us who accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior are all dead to sin. Sin is no longer our master and we should not be a slave of sin. Satan is the father of the wicked and those who are sons of the devil has no eternal life and will be separated from the presence of God eternally - which is hell (I John 3:1-10) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"(II Corinthian 5:17). God is so pleased to all believers who are living in holiness, love and faith in him. Our goal is to become like Jesus in word and in deed. "If you hold to my teaching you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32)."Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12:1-2). Why God Appeared To The Shepherds? Do You Want To Experience The Same?

In the book of Luke 2:8-20, the author describes in details how the shepherds received the good news directly from the angel of the God. First thing we may ask is, why God gave this message of the birth of Jesus to the group of lowly, ordinary and unnoticed people and not to the dignitaries, wealthy and well known personalities? As we can see in the birth of Jesus, God used an ordinary people like Mary and Joseph; Mary has delivered Jesus not in the palace but in a manger where the animals sleep and eat; the social and economic situations are uncertain, full of worries and economically in distress cause of unfriendly system of Roman Empire's handling the society. The shepherds are one of them and affected also of that societal turmoil that seemingly hope and change for the better are beyond their reach and impossible to come in their life time. The appearance of the angel to the shepherds in verse 9 created fear and seemingly unbelievable experience to them. To see and hear a supernatural like an angel is a very different story for a normal people like the shepherds, about that moment of witnessing and experiencing of the glorious presence of God amazed them and had changed their outlook in life. They became so excited to witness the things that they learned from the teachings in Torah concerning the prophecy of a Messiah that was written hundred of years have passed that all the Jewish people will one day be delivered from the tyranny hands of the the Roman Empire and other issues in their lives (Isaiah 7:14; 9:1-7). They can't believe that what was prophesied will come to a reality. To witness a host or big number of angels was a very rare experience these lowly men had. They had an overwhelming joy that no one can explain. And after this encounter, the angels left them and these shepherds excitedly left their flocks and went to Bethlehem to obey what the angel of God told them. When they saw the child wrapped in cloths, they were so overjoyed, praising and glorifying God (verse 17) and they left the child with gladness and new level of excitement and inner strength that they shared this good news of the birth of the Savior of all men including themselves to all they met going back to their place. This account in the lives of the shepherds taught us clearly of the following: First, that the words of God are right and true and he is faithful in all he does (Psalm 33:4). What he promised, he will do it and we can hold on to these; Second, the good news of a Savior has been born to us thousand years have passed. The solution to all man's cares has come already and he is Jesus, the true God who became true man to live and to die to save us all from the power and punishment of sin. Satan has no longer the final say in our lives cause Jesus came here to rescue and to deliver us from the powerful hands of Satan that brought worries, fear, sadness, hopelessness and helplessness in our lives. True meaning and purpose in life are now available to us all through Jesus by accepting him through faith as our Lord and Savior, we will be like the shepherds who were liberated from fear and hopelessness but rather, became joyful; Lastly, the shepherds shared with joy and enthusiasm the good news of love and life to all continuously that others might have these also, for Jesus came to have us life and to have this more abundantly (John 10:10). Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us be thankful always that this Christmas season is a reminder that we should be joyful and excited to share the good news to all. Don't be distracted of the materialism around us. Christmas means, sharing the best gift we had through faith in Jesus (John 1:12-13) to all people who have no peace and joy in life (Isaiah 48:22). Let other people be freed from sadness, fear, no direction in life, envy, quarreling and others. Have pity on them as how God had pity on us. Let us follow the example of Jesus that he gave his life to die to give life to the dying world. Are you willing and ready to become a channel of change to one's life and to lead him/her to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus? Ask God in prayer that the Holy Spirit will give you joy, excitement and concern for your loved ones, relatives, friends and contacts. The second coming of Christ is at hand. Wake up and be watchful always! What If Jesus Didn't Born In Bethlehem?

God threw Satan and all the evil angels to the earth because of their pride and so evil heart that they desired the holy throne of the Almighty and holy God. Now that he and his followers are on earth, he deceived our forefathers, Adam and Eve and he got them and disobeyed God and they were threw also away from the garden of Eden. The same crooked desire Satan is doing to the people in all parts of the world right now, his aim is, to deceive, lead them away from God and to bring them all with him in everlasting destruction in hell - a place of torment, punishment, unstoppable tears and cries prevailed, a place where even the solid metals, stones and things melted easily but Satan, evil angels and the souls of wicked men do not melt but will remain alive in the midst of fiery lake of fire (Revelation 21:8). The thief came to kill, to steal and to destroy men whom God has created in his image (John 10:10). If God didn't send Jesus to be born in a humble manger and of an ordinary woman in the town of Bethlehem thousands of years have passed, the shepherds and all the people during that time today and in the future will remain in a state of hopelessness and helplessness. What kind of life people could have if this world will be filled of hatred, anger, envy, continuous breaking of families, emptiness, losing of self-confidence, self-esteem, killings, corruption, sickness, poverty and others, do you still want to stay here in this world for the rest of your life? God used Mary and Jesus was born of an ordinary woman not through the union of man and woman but by the power of the Holy Spirit who overshadowed her womb and conceived the baby . By faith, Mary and Joseph accepted by and obeyed the message of great salvation that the angel of God told them. That Jesus will be born for he will save the people from sins. The real presence of great joy, hope, and peace were then experienced by all through Jesus, for he Immanuel, God with us (Matthew 1:21;23). He was born not to kill the Roman Emperor who contributed to Israel's life of misery but to defeat the father of sin, who is Satan - the cause the fall of men into sin that led and will lead the world from eternal presence of God. "... Jesus came that you might have life and to have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). Jesus birth gave light, hope and life for the dying world. Praise God as what the bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son Jesus, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit knew that there is no hope for all men whatever they striving to do in order to restore their broken relationship with God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23); "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Friend, you need Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The best gift of God for you is his Son, Jesus Christ. He knows your present needs and what you feel right now. He is just waiting for you to come to him and ask for help to save you from the power and punishment of sin (Revelation 21:8) The bible says in Isaiah 48:22, "There is no peace says the Lord for the wicked". You can't hide anything from him. Be honest to yourself and to God. You will remain helpless and hopeless even you have all the material things in this life and let your soul to lose the real meaning of life that you need. "What shall a profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits or lose his soul" (Mark 8:36). "Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30) Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today, the best gift of God for you. Jesus loves you and he has a wonderful plan in your life.
